Major League Rules are in effect with some notable exceptions. These are just some early plans, subject to change and become updated before the start of the season.
Length of Games
All games are scheduled 9 innings, however Double Header games will be 7 innings each.
Extra Innings - Sudden Death
All games tied after regulation, will go to Sudden Death Overtime. Before overtime the Managers will meet at home plate with the Umpire. The Home Team Manager will decide if they select to Bat or Field. The team that is At Bat will place the runner that made the last out the previous inning, on first base. The Batting Team then has 3 outs to score a run. If they do, they win the game. If they do not, the Fielding Team wins the game.
The Batters get credit for At Bats and all Stats. The Pitcher gets credit for all stats, with the exception of the final run. The said pitcher will not be charged with an earned run.
Designated HitterĀ
The United States League is not planning for the use of a Designated Hitter.
